Myspace Mobster How To Find Out Who Attacked You

Ok so you log into you Myspace Mobster profile and find that someone has been attacking you all day, man that sucks right? On the other side I find this to be the beauty of it. You can go and attack people with, for the most part total anonymity that is of course until NOW. I log into Myspace today to find that I have a message from another Mobster, thanking me for attacking him. WTF? How the hell does he know who I am, well I click on the message and there is a link to this new site, telling you how to get to the mobster personal Myspace. This was a little disturbing to me, I mean now it goes from a weird game to some strange stacker scenario. Yeah the part that you can add people you think are cool might be nice, except I am not sure how that works since only time you would really see them is to attack them or to be attacked by them. The whole idea and fun for me of Mobster is to get in there spend a few minutes attacking people spending my cash, boosting my mob and then I go about my REAL life. It is a nice escape, but I don’t need PERSONAL messages from this people on my Myspace in my PERSONAL inbox trashing me because I attacked them in a game you’re SUPPOSED to attack people in.  I say we all BOYCOTT http://www.mobsteradd.com/ tell them to SUCK IT!

For any of the myspace apps, one can easily find another persons myspace ID by looking at the URL. Look for a number in the app parameters portion of the URL.

    if is shows
    …appParams={“show_user_id”%3A”987654321″}
    the myspace profile is: myspace.com/987654321

In some web browsers, the quotation marks converted to %22, ignore them.
    thus, if it shows
    …appParams=%7B%22show_user_id%22%3A%22123456789%22%7D
    the user id is 123456789

URLs for some myspace apps may be a little bit different, but one should still be able to find the myspace ID from it.

I appreciate you downing my site. It brings traffic. On a side note, some people actually enjoy the tool.

  3. Ryan says:

What was the point in deleting my post? Am I not allowed to speak my mind? Seriously.

  4. Ryan says:

Nevermind you have it moderated….anyways…idk why you don’t like the site…you can even add people :)

  5. Phillip says:

Yeah. After reading ur say on the website i gotta say that u have a point. But boycotting it or hating it is kind of pointless. Many ppl support the site and there are more ppl wanting it than the ppl who don’t like it. I u rele don’t like it. Just block their profile when u find out they are losers :) )

  6. If you want anonyminity or whatever, just delete your MySpace account all together. As Wayne pointed out, there’s nothing secret about your Mobster stuff.

Anyways, thanks for advertising the site! Your article’s title is sure to let people know that MobsterAdd.com can help you find out who attacked you on myspace’s mobster. :)

  7. Jacqui Best says:

Whew look at you boys with your panties in a bunch this morning..

    1. I never delete someones posts.. would defeat the purpose of a blog.

I understand how it works wayne.. what I am saying is the average user is not figuring that out.. and the people that knew how to figure it were not (for rhe most part) spedning time to come send NASTY messages to people. It makes it all WAY to personal.

  8. akuyume says:

It really is a very straightforward process to get one’s real MySpace ID from most of the games on MySpace unless the game devs go out of their way to hide them. If anyone is made uncomfortable by this they should reconsidering playing said games.

  9. Jamie says:

The point is, what was a quick anonymous game is being turned into some personal vendetta for some people. Do like I did. It took me 3 mobsters to figure out how the game was played. Why not let people figure things out for themselves if it bothers them? This site takes the fun out of the game. And I actually have a second profile for the game! I’m not worried about my personal info getting out there.

This is always when games turn stupid.. like on xbox 360 or anything else. People who figure things out and start to win had to work for it. Now this will lead to a first time user harrassing someone for attacking them.

Just Play it!!! Why come out with all these tools?

  10. Ryan says:

Why not? Sites like these are great places to make friends etc…it shares a common interest. Do you really think I make that much on the advertisement that I put out there…not really…in fact I’ve probably invested more into this site than I ever have on any other site that I have been affiliated with. No hard feelings though. :)

MobsterAdd seems to be more about friend whores then people interested in the different games.

I prefer the PeepsDepot.com Trains….They have trains for every game because some people don’t wanna play mobsters or heroes and they can be freinds with other people that want the same games…

    http://mobsters.peepsdepot.com or http://heroes.peepsdepot.com

or just goto the main http://www.peepsdepot.com and find any of the game or friend trains…

The best website to get mobster or any other adds is http://www.spuko.com

  19. Charlie says:

And not everyone goes to you as some sort of vendetta against you. It’s very common that I get my butt handed to me.. I look at their stats.. and if I like them then it’s simple to take their id.. go back to myspace.. paste the friend id.. and add them. Yes it’s true it should be a mob of your friends.. but try winning when you only have 24 friends of people you commonly talk to.

I agree with the people who make profiles just for the game… but at the same time.. why does it matter? You still can have a privatized profile. You can block people from accesing your page, blogs, pics, etc..

So even though I’m hearing your concerns.. I don’t really agree with the exaggeration of the whole ordeal.

By the way a list of over 125,000 mobsters has been compiled.

    http://www.mobstarters.com is coming soon.. :)

  27. Carlo Ponzi says:

If you do not want people to find YOU online then create the account under UNREAL information! Carlo Ponzi is a real historical figure (Inventor of the Ponzi Scheme).

I have no sympathy for people who post their REAL LIFE information online – then get upset when someone figures out who they are by backtracking via the applications that have been added.

If you don’t want people to contact you – then don’t use you REAL INFORMATION. As an IT professional who has worked in Network Security, I never cease to be amazed at everyone’s failure to grasp this simple idea.

If you don’t want people to call your home number – then dont post it on a giant billboard (or the Internet). I have a lot of myspace accounts for Mobsters and some other games. I do not have a single online account that has my real information. I register those accounts with email addresses that are used for spam purposes – and don’t lead back to me.

Even with all the safeguards I use – I am still very certain that a programmer who really wanted to find me could track me down to my real world physical address and identity (I am just making it more difficult for them – NOT impossible).

Or as I might say in game (when I am Role Playing Carlo) – “Please to get a CLUE about how things will to work!”

    Grazie,

    Carlo
