Log Me In, I totally love it!

So for a few weeks now I have been going through and looking for a solution for getting into customers machines. I have tried a multitude of options, from using Microsoft’s Remote Desktop to using WebEx. So let go through them, WebEx was the first guy I tried. It was very difficult to navigate their site and actually find the right product, which should have been the first sign to me that it was not going to be an easy product to use.
After installing the wrong product and not being able to figure it out I moved on to what it take to just get the customer to set up remote desktop for me to get in, it is free with Windows and would be a wonderful option, if I didn’t have to get past their routers, explain how to set up (I mean really the whole reason I am doing this is so I can DO IT MY SELF) so I figured this wan not going to be a valid option. So next I went and checked out Log Me In, which a customer had me use one other time. It was very easy to figure out which one I needed (Log Me In Rescue) and it was easy for me to install. The best part was that when I sent the link to the customer so I could get in all they have to do is click it and click run. I used the software so far to help 2 customers, as well as fixing the machine of a close friend. I am able to reboot the machine remotely and still be able to get in; I can pull all information about the machine including event logs. It was also pretty cheap, only 129 per month per seat. Since I only need one seat that was a bargain, Webex wanted a lot more then that 179 per month.
