Alright so as I have talked about before I do technical phone support for a data recovery company. Any who the deal is I do that from home, more often then not. I have to have the ability to email people while on the go and still have the ability to sync up with Outlook on my desktop. I also was going to be buying this as my personal cell phone, so I wanted all the cool stuff you can get in something like an iPhone without having to own a Mac product. (I don’t want to hear it .. I am anti-mac and that is that) So here is the deal, I can have this Wing through T-Mobile and it allows me to be able to run ActiveSync, which honestly installed with out a problem. With other PDA’s I have had it was always a headache getting the darn thing working with the PC. It has a 2.0 mega pixel camera, MP3 player, Microsoft Office Mobile, as well as the ability to be logged into 3 different Instant Messaging client. I would have to say though the coolest thing about it is the ability to one switch from T-Mobile Internet service to and WiFi hotspot, and two the integration of the media on the phone with all the applications. I can take a picture, bring it in to my viewer, edit it, and then send it in a message. With all the iPhone hype I just thought I would give you all an alternative.

Mythbusters Where Has All The Fun Gone?

So let’s start with I WAS a huge Myth Busters fan. I really couldn’t get enough of this show. The appeal of geeks having a show making a ton of cash doing geek stuff was just too much. I don’t currently watch the show anymore and I am going to give the reasons why. The very first reason might have to be loss of Scottie Chapman, who was just the coolest and had also been there since the beginning. The fact they didn’t even mention it and then replaced her with Grant, who is not a geek but just a dork, was kind of a let down. Now we have to watch Grant and Tory fawn over the most irritating TV personality to come along in awhile, Kari. Ya know I used to like her.. thought she really is a cool geek chick until I saw this, then I just thought.. what a hoe.. trying to play on geekz with being cheap. Now combine that with the fact that Adam and Jamie are not on the show as much, and lets be real, they are the reason to watch. Also combined with the fact they don’t do really dangerous stuff anymore, I mean really if I have to hear how they can’t do this or that because of insurance purposes anymore I might just barf.

Now the reason I am bringing this entire thing up is tonight is the Myth Busters new Discovery Channel Shark Week special, actually in 40 minutes I am going to sit and watch it. I hope this is a good show filled with ridiculous experiments that put Adam in REAL peril.. like the time he scorched off the hair on his body, not just another wanna be special effects show, if that is what I want to see I will go watch a movie with the money to give it to me.

Commonly asked Myspace Mobster Questions and Help

I would have to say that on a daily basis I get about 50 emails asking different questions about MySpace Mobster. A lot of the time these are the same question so I wanted to make a post to point people too and also so people have a place to post their questions.

Q. How do I grow my mob?

A. There is a lot of answers to this question but the easiest way I have found to cause some growth is to invite people to your mob with a lot of mobsters already, they will usually have a Myspace Friends Category that they will add you too. Once in that category you can see all the friends they have that also play mobster and are more than likely looking for more friend invites.

Q. Do I have to have them be my friend in order to add them to my mob?

A. YES! This can be circumvented with some “shady” software but this is not the intention of MySpace or Mobsters and can be cause for banning on MySpace. Your best bets is just add the friends, play Mobsters with them, and enjoy all the new people you are meeting. I was a hard core REAL LIFE friends only before Mobsters with having like 30 real friends and 20 “star” type friends, I am loving all my new pals and anyone who annoys me I just delete them.

Q. Why am I losing fight all the time?

A. You have to remember that your Mob strength is based on your level times five. So let’s take me for example I am level 35 so 35×5=175, so I am only using 175 of my mobsters when I actually fight. That means I can have 1 gun, 1 body armor, 1 Vehicle for each of the 175 people it counts. So if I go and look at my equipment screen this is what you will see.

This allows me to be at full strength when I am attacked, if I didn’t have a weapon, body armor, and vehicle for each person it counted that mobster would fight with their fists. It is also good to remember that when you attack you are getting a higher “dice roll” and get preferred treatment by the mobster app in the fight for being the aggressor.

Q. How are people getting over 500 Mobsters?

A. Ok I know I went over this in another post, that maybe it was a cheat, but it isn’t which was clarified but a great commenter. Deal is Mobster will only ever allow you to use 500 mobsters RIGHT NOW. You can have as many as you like but owning over 500 guns, cars and such does you no good. So yes you mob can be over 500 but you can never bring more then 500 to a fight which begs the question is level 100 the max mobster level?

Q. What is the most important stat to increase?

A. To me this is completely subjective. I have a ton of friends that like to increase their stamina so they can fight the hell outta people, and me I like increasing my energy so I can get about 2 million an hour. If someone has some better ideas of what stats are important and what ones are not let me know.

Q. How do I get more Godfather Points?

A. You can buy them with Paypal, or you can sign up for silly surveys, or you can earn a few here and there by reaching certain achievements with you Mob. I have not found it important to have the Godfather points, but it is the way the guy who wrote Mobster makes money off of us, so it can’t hurt to go and fill out some of the free ones.

Things To Do When Your Waiting For Mobster Energy

I am sure we all know what I is like to sit and wait for your energy to increase so you can go do another mission in Mobster, it can be like waiting for water to boil. So what I do while I am waiting is play another game, makes the time pass really fast and then I am happily surprised when I window out of my game and all my energy is full again. So I thought I would feature a few games that are easy to play, suck a ton of time, and are addictive like mobster. My first fun little game is Garden Wars, whew I love this game. Something about Shooting Gnomes, Peeing Cherubs, and Windy Bottomed Flamingos that just really gets my attention. The game requires you to kill bugs before they get to your flowers. You have cash you earn after every completed wave so you can add more gnomes, cherubs, bug houses, and other cool stuff. There is something like 15 different scenarios with a whole bunch of waves that increase in difficulty. Also there is a cool area where you can try strange challenges like the never ending bug wave or some craziness like that. Anyway, you can Get Garden Defense™ FREE with a 30-day trial to GamePass. The cool part is that They let you try all the 100’s of games they have on Real for 60 minutes for free, and then if you end up keeping your membership you get one free game a month plus discounted rates on all the other games.

MySpace Mobster How People Are Adding Without Friends Invite

Ok so hear is the scuttle butt on the whole.. how are people adding you to mobsters that are not your friends. There is a utility out there (hmm utility is not a good word.. HACK would be the right word) which allows you to auto bank your cash at night, auto attack around the clock, and it will even allow you to attack when you are attacked. It also will add everyone that is on the “fight” list every five minutes to you mob. Now here is the issue with this, it is considered cheating by mobster and MySpace and is causing accounts to be banned. I have found from various sites about people freaked out because they have lost their MySpace account. Fact is people we all want to have the best mob and make the infamous “made men” list, but we all need to do it the way Mobster intended us to do it, invite people to your friends then invite them to your mob through the app. They do not want us circumventing the rules, or their code. (NOTE: I have not included the name of app because it is considered CHEATING and WILL get you BANNED from MySpace.) On another note I KNOW I must have some of these cheaters on my mob, it is hard to keep track at this point, and it seems to have no adverse affect thus far. Ohh yeah one other thing, this app requires PAYMENT from your paypal account as well as your MySpace login info, that cannot be good, the reason being that if this person took the time to write a CHEAT for a game then they are unscrupulous anyway and do you really want them having your MySpace log in info?

Myspace Mobster Mob Wide Bulletins Getting WICKED Irritating

Here is the deal people, I do care whatcha have to say but I also care about who attacked me, who punched me, and who put a hit on me. When we post all those bulletins straight to the Mobster API then a lot of the other things we want to know from that window are getting bumped off. I think the best thing that could be done would be for the coder of the plug in to separate it out. They should put bulletins in one window, attacks in another window, and mobsters who have been added in another. That would solve the problem of people getting frustrated about all the bulletins causing their damage to fall off. I think they should also remove it from posting a bulletin to our MySpace area personally that way we can go into Mobsters and see all the stuff to do with mobsters. I missed the birth of a friend’s baby with all the bulletins LOL. I have met a lot of new great friend because of Mobster, but on the other side some of the people on my friends are just other mobsters I don’t have contact with, I mean really how the hell I would talk to 700 people. So it would be nice if I could keep the “myspace” stuff separate from the “mobster” stuff. Let me know if you think I am wrong, also I know people in the know read this blog so post if you can think of anything else to improve.

Ok, so I had a very STRONG opinon of the mobsteradd.com on the other side, I have to say the guys doing the site are way cool, and I am sure thier intetion was not to cause stalker, crazy situations. They had a very good idea, it is unfortunate people want to abuse what should have been a fun way to add other mobsters to your mob!

Myspace Mobster How To Find Out Who Attacked You

Ok so you log into you Myspace Mobster profile and find that someone has been attacking you all day, man that sucks right? On the other side I find this to be the beauty of it. You can go and attack people with, for the most part total anonymity that is of course until NOW. I log into Myspace today to find that I have a message from another Mobster, thanking me for attacking him. WTF? How the hell does he know who I am, well I click on the message and there is a link to this new site, telling you how to get to the mobster personal Myspace. This was a little disturbing to me, I mean now it goes from a weird game to some strange stacker scenario. Yeah the part that you can add people you think are cool might be nice, except I am not sure how that works since only time you would really see them is to attack them or to be attacked by them. The whole idea and fun for me of Mobster is to get in there spend a few minutes attacking people spending my cash, boosting my mob and then I go about my REAL life. It is a nice escape, but I don’t need PERSONAL messages from this people on my Myspace in my PERSONAL inbox trashing me because I attacked them in a game you’re SUPPOSED to attack people in. I say we all BOYCOTT http://www.mobsteradd.com/ tell them to SUCK IT!

Monster Mash Is Major Fun At A Cheap Price

Every once in awhile I get a little MMO burn out and have to take a break. It isn’t that I don’t want to play games I just want to play something a little mindless. I have a lot going on at most times and usually don’t have hours to devote to playing a game. In order to keep my sanity I do need to unwind sometimes, this is when I turn to doing silly online games and such. I am a big fan of Real Arcade. I have a membership to them and get my game every month. I tend toward being a time management freak. I play them all Diner Dash, Flo On The Go, and Build A Lot to name a few. Now the cool thing is that once I purchase them I can just play them over and over again. No more monthly charges for them. Anyway that aside, my all time favorite is Get Monster Mash FREE with a 30-day trial to GamePass. Whew this game will keep you busy, and is mindless enough that I can do it with causing major brain power. The whole promise is to protect your little villagers from certain monster death with the use of towers that do different things. You have to earn cash by killing monsters and then use that cash to upgrade your towers. Anyway, if anyone knows of more games like this one PLEASE let me know ‘cause I have been playing it for like a year now and would love another one just like it or very similar.
